Stewardship Commission

            The Stewardship Commission is responsible for both conducting Trinity’s annual Stewardship Campaign and raising the congregation’s awareness of stewardship in a broader sense. The annual stewardship campaign, held each Fall, is the most significant event for which the commission is responsible. The Commission works closely with the Rector to define the theme for the annual campaign, plan the center-piece event for the year and administer the annual pledge effort. In addition, the Commission sponsors a series of events designed to raise awareness of stewardship. During this year, the Commission sponsored an opportunity for Trinitarians to share their views regarding stewardship and God’s calling to stewardship.

            The Stewardship Commission has a long term goal of increasing awareness regarding all forms of stewardship, not just focus on the annual pledge effort. In the future the Commission hopes to increase the educational offerings available to Trinity’s members to areas such topics as environmental stewardship, serving as a steward of God’s resources and stewardship as a component of faith.
