Adult Education

The Casual Adult Education Class on Sunday mornings is a place where adults can gather to discuss their faith and to learn from each other.  It’s casual because it is expected that people will participate in the sessions that interest them when their schedule allows but that there won’t be any guilt forced upon people who can’t make all the sessions.  And it's education because it gives participants an opportunity to learn more about many different aspects of their faith.

The Casual Adult Education Class meets in the Lounge, near Café Trinity from 10:20 – 10:50 a.m. when Sunday School is in session, giving a good opportunity for parents to learn while their children are doing the same thing.  Participants may grab a cup of coffee, something to eat, and then join the class.  Classes often focus on some aspects of theology or current issues presented in a compelling and comprehensible way using videos and questions from the ChurchNext Series.  The true learning takes place through the conversations among participants as they help each other learn about and grow in their faith.  The class is facilitated by volunteers from among the participants.
